Description

Hand-sewn 32-panel plastic-pellet footbag for beginners and intermediate players. Best for learning basic kicks, stalls, solo practice, and circle play. The synthetic suede outer has a light, responsive feel with easy control and useful pop. Black and white, 2-inch diameter, one footbag.

We have been making footbags for more than 20 years. The Eclipse Plastic is one of our simplest recommendations because it does not demand a specific style of play. Kick it in a circle, work on stalls in the driveway, or keep it nearby for a short session when you have a few minutes.

Questions

Who is the Eclipse 32 best for?

Learning basic kicks, stalls, solo practice, and circle play. Recommended skill level: beginner to intermediate.

How does the Eclipse 32 feel during play?

Responsive with easy control and useful pop. It uses plastic pellets in a 32-panel build.

What's the difference between sand, metal, and plastic fill?

Sand gives you the most stall control and sits lighter on your foot than metal. Metal is the middle ground, a balance of weight, control, and stallability. Plastic pellets make the bag rounder and give it more pop, which is why our freestyle bags are plastic-filled. If you mostly want stalls, go sand or metal. If you're kicking freestyle, go plastic.

Which footbag should I buy first?

The Eclipse 32 is our simplest recommendation for a first bag because it doesn't demand a specific style of play. If you want to learn stalls first, pick a sand or metal fill with a lower panel count, like the Nemesis 14 Sand. If freestyle kicking is the goal, go with plastic fill and 32 or more panels.

How fast is shipping, and what's your return policy?

Orders ship within 1 business day, and shipping is free on orders of $30 or more. You've got 30 days after delivery to request a return on unused bags in their original packaging. Email shop@footbags.com to start a return, and we'll send you a prepaid label once it's approved.

How do I clean and care for my footbag?

Hand wash only. Run cool water over the bag, work in a drop of mild soap with your palms, then rinse and gently squeeze out the water. Don't scrub, wring, or machine wash it, since the spin cycle can stretch the hand-sewn seams. Pat it with a towel and let it air dry at room temperature, away from heaters and dryers, and give metal filled bags a full day so the fill dries out completely. Once it's dry, roll it between your hands for a few seconds and it's ready to play.
